Google Crowdsource - Hands on

Image
Google Crowdsource – Hands on Overview Google Crowdsource is a free app created by Google with the purpose of bringing more user feedback into its services. The algorithms Google employs for certain tasks, such as image identification, aren’t as sophisticated as the human mind, and there are plenty of opportunities for users to make these Google products even better. It contains 4 main task options. Image Capture Image label verification sentiment evaluation handwriting recognition The interface of Google Crowdsource looks like this. Image label verification In this section users can select a label category from given. And after selecting a category, an image will show up and all you have to do is mark whether if the image can be used for the above selected label or not. If youre not sure about the image you can just skip. Sentiment evaluation. Here google gives the user a phrase and the user have to select the most suitable emoticon of the 3 given

Internet controlled LED using Arduino and ESP8266 | Part 1

Image
Internet controlled LED using Arduino and ESP8266 | Part 1 last week I've been into some IoT projects and thought of sharing them with you. Well this one contains very basic stuff about controlling hardware through a web server. I'll start from the beginning and continue to some real home automation projects step by step. Stuff we are gonna need. Arduino development board ESP 8266 Module USB to TTL converter. 3.7v Lithium polymer Battery. A web server ( 000webhosting  is a good free service) Jumper Wires Note: If you are not using a battery, use a step down regulator. You can find one  here . So you can directly get power from your computer’s USB port. This is how it works. On the user side (or client side) there are two buttons. “Lights On” and “Lights Off.” Light On button sends a “on” value and Light Off button sends a “off” value  to the json file that will be hosted on your server. The ESP8266 module will be connected to home wifi and it reads th

Electron and Proton under same voltage

What happens when I apply the same voltage to an electron and similarly a proton ? Will they have the same kinetic  energy ? Will they have the same De Broglie  wavelength ? Neglecting relativity, the de Broglie wavelength is given by  λ = h m v λ = h m v . Since the proton and electron have different masses, they will not have the same De Broglie wavelength. The field will do the same amount of work to each particle, and therefore impart the same amount of kinetic energy (even though they will have different velocities), but since they have different masses they will have different momenta, and therefore different De Broglie wavelengths.

What is relation between Charge and light?

Image
Hey there we are back with another interesting question and it's answer!! Post by #amanasci: I was wondering about light and and was struck by a question.... Why is light EM radiation if it isn't affected by charge and nor even by magnets!!! The answer to this was really a easy one and I got it after attempts to understand em radiation and charges... Let me share this with you!! Source : wikipedia What happens when we put a electron in uniform charge field?? It experiences force and thus moves and same of it happens with light too but due to oscillating charge field it's to and fro motion cancel each other and net movement is zero.... Thus it seems charge is unaffected by light and same is the case with magnetic field!!! For more info please write down in comments!!! Please share if you like and like our FB page!!! Alien life maybe sending signals but dark matter is making us blind to signs

Alien life maybe sending signals but dark matter is making us blind to signs:  What if intelligent alien life is sending us signals but our finite understanding of dark matter and energy may be making us blind to the signals which perhaps exist in dimensions that humans can't comprehend? When we think of other intelligent beings, we tend to see them from our perceptive and conscience sieve; however we are limited by our sui generis (unique) vision of the world, and its hard for us to admit it. - Gabriel de la Torre, from the University of Cadiz in Spain Gabriel talked about contemplating on other possibilities. What we are trying to do with this differentiation is to contemplate other possibilities, for example, beings of dimensions that our mind cannot grasp; or intelligences based on dark matter or energy forms, which make up almost 95 per cent of the universe and which we are only beginning to glimpse. - Gabriel de la Torre CONDUCTING EXPERIMENTS The re

Are virtual particles really constantly popping in and out of existence?

Are virtual particles really constantly popping in and out of existence?  Virtual particles are indeed real particles. Quantum theory predicts that every particle spends some time as a combination of other particles in all possible ways. These predictions are very well understood and tested. Quantum mechanics allows, and indeed requires, temporary violations of conservation of energy, so one particle can become a pair of heavier particles (the so-called virtual particles), which quickly rejoin into the original particle as if they had never been there. If that were all that occurred we would still be confident that it was a real effect because it is an intrinsic part of quantum mechanics, which is extremely well tested, and is a complete and tightly woven theory--if any part of it were wrong the whole structure would collapse. But while the virtual particles are briefly part of our world they can interact with other particles, and that leads to a number of tests of the quant
